Join us for slippery, wet, and non-stop exciting discoveries! Enjoy collecting animals, canoe trips, and one overnight in the SoundWaters Center (Two Week Sessions only). Educators are college students and American Red Cross trained, one educator to nine students. Optional swim lessons and a parent/child activity are included in every session.

Discover how some animals in Long Island Sound have won a gold medal in survival. Examine creatures to see if a new “competitor” is looking to take their spot.

Explore the Long Island habitats and animals that live there. Take what you learned and put in your own aquarium.. Grow a vegetable garden. Be the caretakers of your habitat, animals and plants.

Discover buoyancy and build the boat of your dreams using recycled materials. Use teamwork to compete in the SoundWaters annual Anything That Floats race.
