Sea Stars      Grades K-2

Monday-Friday 9am-3pm

 

Hands-on science learning wrapped in FUN! Experience non-stop exploring, activities, games and live animals. Head Educators are college students and American Red Cross trained, ratio1:6. Included, optional swim lessons. Extended hours available.

Life By the Sea     June 23-July 3      $650

Discover the animals that call Long Island Sound home. Learn how they survive the daily extremes and what you can do to help.

Green Eggs and Sand              July 7-July 18           $695

Uncover Long Island Sound’s living fossil, the horseshoe crab, and its secret of survival for over 350 million years. Investigate many other creatures that reside in the coastal habitats of Long Island Sound.

Ride the Tide            July 21-August 1      $695

If you build it-will it float? Design a boat using recycled materials. Discover buoyancy, simple machines and teamwork to win the big race.

Crazy Crustaceans     August 4-August 15    $695

Search for crabs in the rocky inter-tidal zone. Explore the natural habitats and life cycles of lobster, shrimp, barnacles and more.

The Crusty Crab and Plankton           August 18-August 22         $500

Find out why plankton is actually our hero and why some crabs actually look crusty. Use microscopes and inquiry to discover why Sponge Bob is fiction based on fact.
