FLOATING CLASSROOM - Bring your students aboard the schooner SoundWaters for an exciting 3-hour environmental education sail. Students haul in the “catch of the day” with our own trawl net, set sail, learn about salt marshes, plankton, water quality, and discover the wonders beneath the waters! Floating Classroom programs complements the standards and performances for CT and NY Core Science Curriculum Frameworks including standards for: Matter and Energy in Ecosystems, The Changing Earth, and Science and Technology.

ADVENTURE ON THE SOUND - Adventure on the Sound is a three-day, two-night program aboard the Schooner SoundWaters that offers up to 20 students in 7th -12th grade a unique opportunity for personal growth. During the program students will learn to work as a team, discover the leader within themselves, understand a new meaning of community and experience adventure within a safe environment.
