SoundWaters internship program inspires high school and college students to make a difference in our local environment.
The Sound Interns program provides on-the-job skills training, mentoring, and research experience for students in high school and college. Interns are introduced to someof Long Island Sounds most precious habitats and the animals that live there.
During the internship program, students work alongside the SoundWaters Education team in our teaching aquarium, laboratory and in the field enhancing
Students must be 15 or older and currently enrolled in high school. Work permits are required for 15-year-olds.
